Academic Tutoring Center

The Academic Tutoring Center provides support for students seeking assistance with coursework, writing, math, general study skills, and more. Simply put, our goal is to make sure you have the support you need to succeed.

What you need to know:

  • You can book your session online at .
  • Tutoring sessions take place during the school semesters on working days.
  • Sessions are one-to-one and last one hour.
  • All tutoring sessions are in person, unless you have been approved for online learning by the Admissions or Dean’s Office. If so, please provide your tutor with documentation (an email from Admissions or the Dean’s Office) before scheduling a session on Teams.
  • Each tutor has their areas of specialization listed in their profile; please review these to find the best match for your specific course or citation style.
  • You can choose to have your tutoring session in room L308, the 鶹 Cafe, the student lounge, or a coffee shop in Prague. The location will be decided between you and your tutor for each session.
  • If you need help with academic writing (such as a paper), please email the paper to your tutor at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Note: Please DO NOT book a session the day before your paper is due, both you and the tutor need more time to help you with the paper.
  • You need to have JSTOR library access already set up through the library if you want help with research for an assignment.
